What Residents Can Expect
Palm Jebel Ali is a Nakheel master development planned around the beach. Most of its amenities sit on or near the water: hotels and resorts, beach clubs, marinas, parks and promenades, with shops, restaurants and sports facilities spread across the island. Many of them will open in phases as construction moves forward, so the list below describes what is planned rather than what is open today.
Luxury Hotels and Resorts
Around 80 hotels and resorts are planned across the island, mostly on the crescents and other waterfront areas, with several international hotel brands expected.
Sports and Recreation
Fitness centres, sports courts and paths for running and cycling are planned across the island, along with sports and wellness facilities close to the beaches.
Leisure Parks
Landscaped parks are planned throughout the island, with space for family days out, outdoor games and quiet walks.
Lifestyle Malls
Residents and visitors will have lifestyle malls with international brands, independent shops and entertainment, including the luxury lifestyle mall shown in the master plan.
Yacht Club
The Signature Yacht Club will offer moorings for boats of different sizes and direct access to the open water of the Gulf.
Beach Access
Many developments on the island will have direct beach access, and the villas on the fronds sit right on the sand.
Road Access
Three access points connect the island to the mainland, with a dedicated access road to Sheikh Zayed Road (E11).
Dining Outlets
Restaurants and cafés are planned across the island, from casual places along the promenades to fine dining in the hotels and beach clubs.
Beach Clubs
Beach clubs will give residents and visitors private beach areas, pools and lounges on the waterfront.
Marinas
At least two marinas are planned, with berths for yachts of all sizes.
